StarCraft introduces Guy Harvey signature line

In one of the smarter business deals of 2009 StarCraft has secured the exclusive rights to produce a licensed Guy Harvey line of jewelry. As an industry leader in the manufacturing field, StarCraft came up with the idea to design and manufacture a Guy Harvey signature line that represents the popular artist's passion for marine wildlife.

StarC-dolphin-Nov"We brainstormed the idea amongst ourselves before approaching Guy, but when we finally pitched our idea directly to him he loved it. He told us he'd wanted to do jewelry for a while," recalls Margaret Fortescue, managing director of StarCraft.

Guy Harvey, complete with his own signature art collection and marine conservation message, couldn't be more popular than he is right now. With April 2009 going down as the best month ever for his company, in spite of the ailing economy, the Guy Harvey brand continues to fly off shelves everywhere.

Being keenly aware of Harvey's mass appeal, especially within the college segment, StarCraft understands the advantage of having exclusive rights to his line of jewelry.

"We knew how well his merchandise sales have done and we wanted a way to buy into his strong, well-known brand name," states Margaret. "Plus we knew we could create a line that would really please him and be accessible to retailers both small and large."

Guy Harvey couldn't have chosen a better fine jewelry manufacturer to partner with. StarCraft has been in business 28 years providing its customers with personal service, consistent quality and manageable pricing. Add to all of that well-built promotions, marketing support and expedient customer service and it's no surprise that the company's client base continues to expand year over year.

Vowing to maintain the movement and detail that are the hallmarks of every Guy Harvey piece, StarCraft turned 12 of his beautiful species artwork into stunning gold, silver, and enamel medallions ranging in size from 15 up to 35 mm. The collection includes earrings, bracelets, necklaces, some of which have added diamonds and sapphires to adorn the edges. Medallions are paired with a wide range of necklace options including chain, leather cord and poly cord.

StarC-18K-neck-NovEager to include pricing for even the most meager retail budgets, the Guy Harvey sets (called units) start at $3500 and include 36 pieces of the best selling Guy Harvey designs. Retailers can also customize their unit as well, picking and choosing which pieces they want to include in their collection. Suggested retail pricing will range from $99 to $35,000, depending on the piece.

StarCraft has also created high quality, effective marketing pieces to help retailers get the word out about the new line. Complete with ad slicks, flyers and billboard material, retailers won't have to spend extra money coming up with graphics or images to promote this line.

Perhaps one of the most significant advantages to the whole program is the fact that a portion of the proceeds goes toward marine conservation through The Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation. This non-profit organization promotes the conservation of our oceans and nurtures the next generation of marine scientists and guardians of our seas.
