Jewelers Mutual Platinum Points to reward jewelers

(NEENAH, Wis.) – Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company is pleased to announce the launch of Jewelers Mutual Platinum Points, a program designed to award points to jewelers for every new Personal Lines Insurance contact they refer to Jewelers Mutual via a specially designed web page. Absolutely no purchase of insurance is necessary.

“Jewelers have been referring their customers to Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company since 1953, when the company first began offering its Personal Jewelry Insurance product,” said Patrick Drummond, vice president of Sales and Marketing. “Platinum Points is a way to show our gratitude and, at the same time, increase public awareness about our product.”

Upon receiving points, jewelers can redeem them by ordering from more than 44 million items, including gifts ranging from books and electronics to tickets and travel.

What’s more, jewelers also will have the ability to distribute points to staff members. In a time when budgets are tight, jewelers can motivate their sales force at no cost to themselves. They can award points for meeting sales goals or providing exceptional customer service. It’s entirely up to them.

How the program works

Upon enrolling in the program through www.JMPlatinumPoints.com, jewelers will be assigned a unique code. Soon afterwards, they will receive a welcome kit with customer referral cards. After writing their unique code on the cards, they’ll simply provide the cards to their customers. They needn’t do anything else.

When their customers visit the specially designed web site listed on the card, www.jewelersmutualinfo.com, they will be asked to enter their jeweler’s unique code, as well as their own name and e-mail address for verification. As long as the customers are not currently insured with Jewelers Mutual, the jeweler will receive points for the referral. Once on the website, customers can learn more about Jewelers Mutual and obtain a free, no obligation quote.

Participation is limited to one unique code per store location. Void where prohibited. Due to state laws, Platinum Points will not be available in Calif., Ga., Kan., Mass., Miss., Mont., N.M., N.Y., and S.C.
