AJA announces new Design Competition for 2009 Convention
The Design Competition is created to promote and encourage jewelry design by members of the AJA. Open to all members, regardless of experience, formal training or background in jewelry or jewelry design, the competition will be judged by a panel of industry experts who evaluate designs based on their originality, creativity and wearability.
Any employee of the store may participate with their sketch. Attendance at the evening presentation is required. A cash award is planned for the winner. Entry fee is $25. Additional information is available in the Convention Package the membership received in May.
The 2009 Annual Arkansas Jewelers Association Convention, C.A.R.A.T. Award Contest and Craftsmanship Award Contest with NEW Design Contest will begin August 15, 2009 at the Doubletree Hotel in Little Rock, Arkansas.
