Bernard Reller adds Holiday Beads to Charm Bead Collection

Holiday Beads are the latest addition to Bernard Reller's Charm Bead Collection and are compatible with all popular bead bracelets. The new designs celebrate the season with traditional symbols from various faiths.

After a local Gainesville Jewelers asked Bernard to design a collection of University of Florida Gator beads he quickly saw a niche in the market for destination beads celebrating tourists' memories of seaside resorts and islands of the Caribbean.

Reller-Oct"Bead bracelets are the new charm bracelets," says Bernard. "The concept encourages a woman to express her individuality in the selection of specific beads, so what better choice than a souvenir of a holiday adventure?"

"The response has been truly amazing," comments Reller. "Since launching the program at Las Vegas we've seen as many as 300 of our custom souvenir beads sell out of a single boardwalk store location over a period of just four weeks! Not bad for a fifty to sixty dollar retail sale."

With thousands of existing charm designs in Reller's Southern CharmTM Collection, there is no shortage of material for the bead project. Many additional designs have resulted from collaboration with both long-time and new customers. For instance, a recent design - a blueberry leaf featuring a couple of tasty lapis berries - commemorates the 42nd Annual Marshall County Blueberry Festival in Plymouth, Indiana.

For Bernard, the best part of the charm bead project is having fun brainstorming with clients over design ideas.
