Start-to-Finish to support Wounded Warrior Project

(BIRMINGHAM, Ala.) - In honor of our nation’s veterans this holiday season, Start-to-Finish, LLC (STF) is donating $10 for each bracelet a store buys to Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). The Wounded Warrior Project is a nonprofit organization that provides comfort and aid to severely injured service men and women returning from military conflicts abroad and serves to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid to support the warrior’s needs.

Today’s veterans deserve every opportunity to receive the assistance they need and WWP is well-positioned to provide this service,” says Start-to-Finish President, Renee Singer, “It might be a small thing, but we wanted to do our part to honor and help these brave men and women.”

According to WWP, there are more than 30,000 wounded warriors returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. And while they receive excellent care as inpatients at military medical facilities, the care does not address these individuals’ continuing needs for life after an injury. Continuing needs such as school, work, training, and support as they begin to build a new life to accommodate disabilities such as traumatic brain injury, combat stress, amputations, and blindness.

In addition to its own $10 donation, Start-to-Finish encourages its customers to match the funds raised or make a similar donation when a consumer makes a starter bracelet purchase. To support stores, STF will provide, upon request, ads and signage. Plus, if bracelet owners complete a registration card, either in the store or online (http://start-to-finishbracelets.com/customer/registration.asp), the store may make the matching donation in their name.

Says Singer, “While we hope our customers will join us in matching funds, we are grateful for any participation they can manage. Start-to-Finish is proud to be able to support the efforts of Wounded Warrior Project.”
