Kuehn honored for three decades of service to TIJT

Technology (TIJT) Advisory Board met on June 13, 2011.  During the meeting, Mr. Lary Kuehn of R. Lary Kuehn, Inc. in Gainesville, TX, was presented with a plaque in appreciation for 32 years of devoted service on the Advisory Board of the Institute. Mr. Kuehn dedicated his time to ensure that the Jewelry Technology program had adequate resources and a well-designed curriculum to provide students with the skills, knowledge, and behaviors necessary to successfully meet the needs of business and industry.

The Texas Institute of Jewelry Technology is located in Paris, TX, on the campus of Paris Junior College and offers Associates Degrees in Applied Science for Jewelry Technology and Horology, along with certificates in Jewelry Technology, Bench Technician, Casting, Computer Aided Design, Fine Mechanical Watch Repair, Gemology, and Horology Technology.  TIJT has been providing instruction in jewelry technology and horology since 1942.
