Nexus, Inc., a jewelry manufacturer in Pittsburgh, PA, celebrates their 28th year in business this year and announces plans for their 28th annual West Virginia Jewelry Show to be held July 17, at Stonewall Resort in Roanoke, West Virginia.
Nexus, Inc. was created in 1984 by jewelry veterans, Dale Riether and the late Stephen Delano. Dale and Stephen saw an opportunity to become their own bosses when the company they worked for went out of business. The clients from their old company needed a supplier they knew and could trust, and Nexus, Inc. was happy to step into that role.
The Nexus, Inc. annual West Virginia Show originated in 1984 with the company’s southern salesman, Calvin Broyles, who also owned a jewelry store in South Charleston, WV, and realized that most jewelry stores in West Virginia didn’t get to regularly see a product line in person. Dale and Stephen saw an untapped market that was in need of a more personalized approach to jewelry sales.
Co-owner Dale Riether, who has 52 years of jewelry experience, states: “We began the West Virginia Show in order to provide a unique service to our friends and customers in that area. We wanted to give them a chance to see our complete line of products while getting to know us better.” And the rest, as they say, is history.
This year’s West Virginia Show is going to be held at Stonewall Resort in Roanoke, WV. Surrounded by lush landscapes and world class amenities, Nexus, Inc. has found a beautiful location for showcasing their merchandise, expanding their clientele, and cultivating business relationships.
The show will be held on Sunday, July 17 and will begin at 10:00 am. Nexus, Inc. will display thousands of pieces not normally found in their line in addition to show-day-only specials and close out items. Gourmet food and an open bar will be provided throughout the day so the jewelers may explore all the products and services Nexus, Inc. has to offer at their own leisurely pace.
On Saturday, July 16 at 1:00 pm, Nexus, Inc. will sponsor the Calvin Broyles Memorial Golf Outing at Stonewall Resort for those jewelers who enjoy hitting the links. Following the golf outing is a casual reception at the Nexus patio for all show attendees. According to Diane Delano, co-owner of Nexus, Inc., “We originally started the golf outing and reception the day before our show so we could get to know our customers outside of a business setting, and it worked out so well that we made it tradition.”
Nexus, Inc. invites you to their 28th annual West Virginia Jewelry Show. Pittsburgh may not be a part of the south, but the owners of Nexus, Inc. sure know how to show southern hospitality.
