(ATLANTA) - The Southern Jewelry Travelers Association (SJTA) has announced the members of its 2009 Retail Advisory Board. Despite the surprise spring snow fall that hit the Spring 2009 Atlanta Jewelry Show on Sunday, March 1, many of the new board members gathered for a lunch meeting to share thoughts and suggestions for fine-tuning the buyer services SJTA provides to retailers throughout the Southeast region, including the popular SJTA Rewards and Certified Jeweler initiatives, educational programming, networking events, product selection and other business services featured at the semi-annual Atlanta Jewelry Show.
"We've brought together some of our region's premier retailers to help guide us as we develop show promotions and year round support services for our full retail audience," says Carol Young, executive director, SJTA. "These retailers are on the front lines and help keep us focused on programs and services that can truly help industry members. Their feedback and advice are invaluable."
