(LAS VEGAS) - The American Gem Society (AGS) has announced Jewelry Information Center (JIC) - the consumer education arm of Jewelers of America and the leading fashion authority in the jewelry and watch industry - will produce the annual 2011 Conclave Fashion Show, held on April 27, 2011.
“The annual Fashion Show is Conclave’s premier networking event with the best retailers in the country. Members attend because they not only enjoy the show, but the networking opportunities are tremendous,” said Ruth Batson, executive director and CEO of AGS. “People mingle throughout the evening, watching the fashion show, viewing the jewelry in the supplier showcases, and networking. It’s an evening where trends and business are discussed, as well as members just having fun.”
Suppliers participating in the fashion show will not only have unprecedented access to the AGS retailers during the evening reception, but during the course of the entire education-packed four day Conclave. Additionally, there will be an added incentive for fashion show participants: Jewelers of America will offer a special benefits package at a reduced rate for those who elect to join JA.
