NCJA and JA Members should fire up their computers to get employees fired up for the holidays

(NEW YORK) – The North Carolina Jewelers Association (NCJA) is hosting a one-hour sales training webinar for retail jewelers just in time for the holidays, on Wednesday, November 16, from 8:30-9:30 a.m EST. Titled “Becoming A Closer,” it will reveal the secrets to closing sales from New York Times bestselling author Jeffrey Gitomer’s training organization, TrainOne. TrainOne is a global leader in courses on customer and employee loyalty and sales training focused on customer buying motives.

“Becoming a Closer” will share key methods to master the art of closing sales. Jewelers will learn about: buying signals, low-pressure sales, decisions and indecisions, and add-on sales.

The webinar is made possible by a grant from Jewelers of America (JA) through its Affinity Fund program, which is exclusively available to JA Regional Partner Associations to fund projects that have a direct and positive impact on the associations’ members.

Registration is open exclusively to any member of Jewelers of America and/or NCJA at NCJA’s website, www.ncjewelers.org. Cost is just $10 per person. Registration is limited to the first 500 persons.

“Becoming a Closer” offers NCJA and JA members the following benefits:

  • Convenience: Jewelers can watch the sales training webinar at staff meetings or from home. Plus, registrants will have access to a webinar recording – for use at future staff meetings or as a reference.
  • Expert and Affordable Training: TrainOne’s courses contain real-world concepts that are adaptable to any company in any situation. Often traditional sales courses cost hundreds of dollars. Thanks to JA’s funding, NCJA and JA members can sign up for just $10.
  • Pre-Holiday Sales Skills Review: “Becoming a Closer” will motivate experienced sales staff or educate seasonal or part-time staff to prep for the holiday sales rush.

“NCJA canvassed a cross-section of store owners and determined our traditional in-person seminar was ineffective for store employees in terms of time and cost. We are so pleased to provide a new venue for member store employees to get nationally acclaimed and timely training,” says Suzi Bevacqua, NCJA Executive Director.

For more information or to register, visit www.ncjewelers.org or contact Suzi Bevacqua at 919-789-7979.
