Registration open for 5th year of Select by Centurion shows

(NEW YORK) - Registration is now open for the 2014 Select by Centurion shows. The season starts in Dallas at the Ritz Carlton September 7-8. This is Select’s fifth year in Dallas.

On September 21-22, Select moves over to Nashville, TN, where it will take place at the Loews Vanderbilt. Nashville is America’s “Music City” and also is fast becoming a hub for jewelers to meet, have fun, and do some late season buying.

Sponsors Already at the Starting Line for Second Rings of Strength Tour

Sponsors for the second edition of the Jewelers for Children Rings of Strength Tour have already stepped up to support the second installment of the very successful 2013 kick-off.  As of April 18, Tag Heuer, JCK Events, Rio Tinto Diamonds, Blue Nile, Brinks, The Harmon Group, Jewelry Creations, Coast Diamonds, Leo Schachter Diamonds, Malca-Amit, and Freeman have signed on to sponsor the event.

JCK Las Vegas announces new show perks for 2014

(NORWALK, Conn.) - JCK Las Vegas has announced that the show will offer some exciting new features and perks. Among the new and notable items attendees can expect to see: An address from Philippe Mellier, CEO, De Beers Group, to all retailers; Grammy Award-winning recording artist and songwriter, Rob Thomas (of Matchbox 20), headlining JCK Rocks the Beach; the introduction of “Food Truck Alley”; the inaugural Diamond Empowerment Fund ‘Diamonds in the Sky’ event; an improved floor plan; and the morning Jewelers for Children’s Rings of Strength Run, Walk, Ride event.

JCK Tucson holds inaugural show

(NORWALK, Conn.) - JCK Tucson’s inaugural show closed Saturday, February 8 after an historic week in the desert. The serene 5-star property, daily show specials, and focused networking sessions proved to be a winning combination for all who attended. JCK reported strong retailer attendance for the show, 47% of the 1,800 stores attending do not attend JCK Las Vegas, which provided new selling opportunities to the 129 exhibitors who debuted their collections.

Luxury 2014 to honor, inspire and entertain attendees

(NORWALK, Conn.) - Luxury is reporting that their 2014 show is poised to impress. This year’s show will feature the first annual Luxury Retailer of the Year award, a re-imagined format for events that will include more networking, outdoor gatherings at the pool at the Four Seasons, Cirque Du Soleil’s Michael Jackson show, and their ever popular Dine-Out, including six restaurants at Mandalay Bay, never before offered.

IDCA hosts annual Grand Gala in Tucson

The Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association (IDCA), a New York-based not-for-profit association, hosted its Grand Gala event during the AGTA Tucson Gem Show in February at the Marriott University Park Hotel.

IDCA honored AR & AR/Cicada Jewelry with the “Colorstone Jewelry Manufacturer” Award. Arsavir Zarokyan, President/Owner of AR & AR accepted the award. Zarokyan stated he was honored to have received the award, and expressed his gratitude to the IDCA board for the same.
