(ATLANTA) - The 24 Karat Club Southeastern United States (SEUS) hosted its 41st annual black-tie Banquet at the Atlanta Country Club on August 8th. The elite event was well attended with approximately 200 leaders of the jewelry industry and their guests enjoying an evening of networking and recognition.

Countdown begins to Select By Centurion Show in Chicago

(ATLANTA) - The Atlanta Jewelry Show caps off its year-long 65th anniversary celebration with a growing roster of fresh new resources for jewelers to explore during the August 8-10, 2015 edition at the Cobb Galleria Centre. Topping the list are 12 innovative designer brands that will join the ranks of the show’s Point of View: A Designer Gallery for the first time.

From Jewels to Tools: Ivan Levi to speak on enhancing business practices at RJO Show in August

Ivan Levi’s quest to find answers to questions about these changes led him to discover how one specific, yet easy to do practice must be part of the art of exchange, now and forever.

Levi, of Ivan Alan Jewels and Ivan Alan Solutions is a veteran in the jewelry industry - from creation to marketing to management. Owners and managers of brick-and-mortar jewelry stores often ask him how they can compete with the Internet marketplace and how they can best serve their customers. 

Rings of Strength collects over $60,000 for JFC

JFC Rings July(NEW YORK) - Jewelers for Children (JFC) held the 3rd Annual Rings of Strength Tour on Thursday, May 28, at Mandalay Bay Resort Casino in Las Vegas, NV. More than 125 participants assembled at 5:30 a.m. to either walk or run 5K, or bike one of two courses, a leisurely 15K route or a challenging 50K route. Participants who signed up built their own fundraising websites and collected more than $60,000 to support Jewelers for Children.

“How satisfying to see this event grow, year after year!” said Debra Puzio, JFC’s Vice President for Special Programs. “When Rebecca Foerster, a JFC board member, conceived the idea for the event, we had no way of knowing how successful it would become.”

Next Generation of independent retailers converge for New Experience

RJO July(OAK BROOK, Ill.) - Next generation independent retail jewelers gathered from across the country for the second annual Retail Jewelers Organization’s (RJO) Next Gen Experience. Co-sponsored by RDI Diamonds, Stuller, Ostbye and Pancis Gems, the weekend brought together over 40 next gen jewelers for focused, hands-on educational sessions.

The program entitled, “The RJO Next Generation Experience: Creating Ultimate Jewelers of the Future,” included topics about making choices, dealing with conflict, establishing a business vision, developing core values and the future of the industry.
