Luxury 2014 to honor, inspire and entertain attendees

(NORWALK, Conn.) - Luxury is reporting that their 2014 show is poised to impress. This year’s show will feature the first annual Luxury Retailer of the Year award, a re-imagined format for events that will include more networking, outdoor gatherings at the pool at the Four Seasons, Cirque Du Soleil’s Michael Jackson show, and their ever popular Dine-Out, including six restaurants at Mandalay Bay, never before offered.


IDCA hosts annual Grand Gala in Tucson

The Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association (IDCA), a New York-based not-for-profit association, hosted its Grand Gala event during the AGTA Tucson Gem Show in February at the Marriott University Park Hotel.

IDCA honored AR & AR/Cicada Jewelry with the “Colorstone Jewelry Manufacturer” Award. Arsavir Zarokyan, President/Owner of AR & AR accepted the award. Zarokyan stated he was honored to have received the award, and expressed his gratitude to the IDCA board for the same.

The SMART Show Chicago reports record number of buyers pre-registered

(CHICAGO) - The SMART Jewelry Show announced that pre-registration for retailer attendees as of late February was running 44 percent higher than last year, pointing towards yet another record attendance level for the innovative trade show, which has attracted more retailers each year since its debut in 2009.

Speakers, events announced for Alabama/Georgia Convention

The boards of the Alabama and Georgia Jewelers Associations are delighted to announce the educational line up for their two-state convention, April 11-13.

For the sixth consecutive year, the states will co-host their annual convention. The convention returns to The Lodge & Spa at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia, the site of the first joint convention six years ago. This site is a luxury property managed by Marriott.

NCJA/SCJA annual Conference announced

North and South Carolina jewelers will join together May 2 - 4, 2014 at the oceanfront Marriott Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach South Carolina for the 140th Run for the Roses at their 2014 annual Conference.  While the Kentucky Derby horse race will only last two minutes, the camaraderie and fun in the sun will last the weekend long.
