JIC announces 10th annual GEM Awards date

(NEW YORK) - Jewelry Information Center (JIC), the consumer education arm of Jewelers of America, will hold its tenth annual GEM Awards gala on Friday, January 6, 2012, in New York City. The 2012 GEM Awards returns to Cipriani 42nd Street, the iconic venue space where all but one of the galas have been held. Known for its stylish celebration of honorees – who range from industry leaders, media elite and celebrities – the event will once again kick off a weekend of prestigious jewelry industry events.

JIS October Miami Beach Show promises “A world of new excitement and growth”

With an explosive increase of pavilions, designers, brand name jewelry, and many new exhibitors, along with the Jewelers International Showcase (JIS) regular world-wide exhibitor base, “the entire jewelry trade of the western hemisphere will see a completely new and expanded Jewelers International Showcase this October 15-18 at the Miami Beach Convention Center,” states JIS veteran jewelry tradeshow producer, Michael Breslow.
