Prime Jewelry Group announces 2011 event dates

John Preziose, President of Prime Jewelry Group, announced that Prime will hold its 2011 buying event on Sunday, August 28 and Monday, August 29, 2011.

“We have very close relationships with our retail jeweler guests, and continually get feedback from them as well as our members,” stated Preziose. “Our 2010 event was the second highest grossing event in our nine-year history. The retailers came ready to sit down and conduct business – and that’s what exhibitors want most.”

JIC’s Ninth Annual GEM Awards – A Star-Studded Event

(NEW YORK) - Jewelry Information Center (JIC) – the consumer education arm of Jewelers of America – held its Ninth Annual GEM Awards gala January 7, at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York. The star-studded event – considered “the Academy Awards of the fine jewelry industry” – featured Hollywood, jewelry and sports icons including Jennifer Hudson, Neil Lane and Boomer Esiason.

Centurion 2011: future focused with enticing exhibitors

Buyers and exhibitors delighted with new JIS Las Vegas Show

Jewelers International Showcase (JIS) is proud to announce the launch and the successful completion of their inaugural Las Vegas Jewelry Trade Show held this past October 30 - November 1 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. With buyers in attendance from well beyond the original target markets in the western US, Mexico and Canada, JIS was happy to report “trade only buyers attending from well outside the areas originally intended for this show, including but were not limited to the Caribbean, Latin America, Eastern United States and even Europe,” said JIS’ veteran show producer Michael G. Breslow.
