The American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) has announced that Marketing and Sales Coordinator, Danielle Pelletiere, will be taking over the position of Marketing Manager, effective January 21st.
Pelletiere received her BSBA in Marketing and a minor in Public Relations from the University of North Carolina Charlotte. Prior to working with AGTA, Pelletiere was employed at Neiman Marcus. She then took on the Sales and Marketing Coordinator position at AGTA where she concentrated on sales and editorial content. In doing so, she doubled ad sales in her first year with AGTA and took on all editorial control of the electronic newsletter, ePRISM.
“Danielle has done a remarkable job for us in her capacity as Marketing Coordinator and we felt that she would be the ideal individual to take on the responsibility of this new role,” says Douglas Hucker, AGTA CEO. “We have some rigorous plans for promoting our Member’s businesses in the coming year and we feel confident our plans are in good hands with Danielle as our new Marketing Manager.”
Pelletiere transitions in to the Marketing Manager position with a broad background in marketing and a wealth of knowledge about the Association. As she moves in to her new role she will extend her focus to all aspects of promotion, advertising and public relations.
