Rick Gouthro, President & CEO of Diamond Emotions, has reported business has increased two fold since announcing their Free Custom Design Program last fall. The new program has received “an enormous response concerning requests for custom orders,” said Gouthro.
“We normally slow down in December, but this year we had over 177 custom orders that were all delivered before Christmas, except for one order. The response from the retailers was amazing,” he continued. “We were providing drawings and estimates within 48 hours and completing orders within 2 weeks after the Free CAD was approved by the customer.”
Diamond Emotions’ custom business has continued to thrive throughout the first quarter of this year. Gouthro credits the outstanding response from their customers to their excellent quality and workmanship, and says their prices have been well received. “One of our customers, Bernie Ochs from Carroll Ochs Jewelers, said our designs that were created brought tears to the eyes of many of his customers because they were always told their diamonds could not be used in a new setting,” said Gouthro. “Bernie knew Diamond Emotions would not say ‘no’ to any request.”
Due to their remarkable increase in business, Diamond Emotions has moved to a larger facility and hired 2 additional customer service associates in order to service their customers better. This does not mean that you will not speak with Rick, Gerri or Justin Gouthro when you call. “We want the personal relationship with our customers,” says Gouthro. “It is our goal to return all calls the same day should we not be available immediately when you call.”
