(GREENSBORO, N.C.) - Newsmith, Inc., publisher of Southern Jewelry News and Mid-America Jewelry News, is pleased to announce they have hired Martha Osswald as office manager.

A native of Greensboro, North Carolina, Martha graduated from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro in 2005. She previously worked for the Guilford County (NC) School system working with youth requiring individual assistance.

“We’re happy to have Martha join our team here at Newsmith,” said president Chris Smith. “We expect 2010 to be a banner year for Southern and Mid-America Jewelry News. The addition of Martha and our new northeastern sales representative, Marilyn Liebman, puts us in a position to aggressively grow our business in the coming year.”

Martha’s personal time involves spending time with her family, friends, her cat, Pancake and her dogs, Ireland and Bear.
