JCK announces Designer Showcase Award winners Designer Walt Adler wins top award

24 Karat Club, S.E.U.S. elects 2011 - 2012 Officers & Directors

(ATLANTA) – The 24 Karat Club, Southeastern United States (SEUS) held their semi-annual membership meeting on August 6 at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, Georgia. The meeting was conducted just prior to opening day of the Southern Jewelry Travelers Association’s Atlanta Jewelry Show held at the same venue.

NCJA Design Competition winners announced

The North Carolina Jewelers Association (NCJA) announced the winners of its annual Design Competition. Oz Hefner of Oz’s Jewelers in Hickory won Category I and Category III, in addition to Best of Show.  Keith Hipp of Ellis Jewelers in Lexington took top honors in Category II and the People’s Choice Award.  The competition recognizes the outstanding work of North Carolina jewelry designers.

Carolina women form partnership

Angie Buxton, founder of Sweet Charleston Designs headquartered in Daniel Island, SC, along with partner Janie Manning of Raleigh, NC, have formed a sales partnership with Richard Michaud Company & New England Metalcrafters’ President Julie Maestro, of Greensboro, NC.
