Stuller, Inc. celebrates 40th anniversary

In 1970, Matthew Stuller set out to find happiness in his Winnebago with a goal to build a business that caters to the unique needs of jewelry professionals. Now, 40 years later, Stuller, Inc. provides a wide variety of products and services to independent retail jewelers worldwide.

Today Stuller, headquartered in Lafayette, Louisiana, has nine operations located on three continents around the world. The company’s core product categories include: diamonds, gemstones, finished jewelry, mountings, findings, bridal jewelry, tools and supplies.

Jewelers’ Security Alliance, eBay announce partnership to fight organized jewelry crime

(NEW YORK) – Jewelers’ Security Alliance (JSA) is partnering with eBay, the world’s largest online marketplace, to tackle organized jewelry crime. This unique partnership between JSA and eBay provides for greater information sharing to further support the investigative efforts of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), as well as state and local law enforcement agencies, working in partnership with jewelry loss prevention professionals.

Jewelers of America welcomes new Board Directors

(NEW YORK) - Jewelers of America (JA), the national trade association for businesses serving the fine jewelry retail marketplace, welcomed three new industry leaders to its Board of Directors at its Board meeting on July 24, in New York. The new directors are John Henne, owner of Henne Jewelers; Brian P. Mann, vice president and co-owner of David Mann Jewelers; and Teresa Saldivar, owner of Teresa’s Jewelers.

Jewelry tradeshow veteran joins JIS
