JFC to honor the Green Family of Lux Bond & Green and Debra Puzio of QVC

Jewelers for Children (JFC), the industry’s charity, will honor the Green Family (Robert, Marc and John) of Lux Bond & Green and Debra Puzio of QVC at the annual Facets of Hope celebration on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, a new venue for the event. The event culminates JFC’s fund raising efforts for the year and in 2010 attracted more than 1,300 industry guests during the JCK Show. The Greens and Puzio have generously agreed to serve as guests of honor at the event with the responsibility of assisting JFC in raising funds to benefit children who are the victims of catastrophic illness or life-threatening abuse and neglect. Each year, prominent industry leaders are honored by the charity.


Jewelers for Children elects 13 to Board of Directors

(NEW YORK) - Jewelers for Children (JFC), the jewelry industry’s charity, is pleased to announce the results of the annual election for it’s board of directors. Effective October 1, 2010, 13 new directors have joined the board. Abbott & Shapiro LLC move into new space to support growth

(SHELTON, Conn.) – Abbott & Shapiro LLC, makers of The EDGE jewelry store management system have moved as of October 25, 2010.

Their new 5,500 square foot office suite, located at 3 Corporate Drive, Suite 215, Shelton, CT 06484, is approximately 50% larger than their previous space.  This new space will support their business expansion plans, already in progress with the hire of two new support technicians and the introduction of offering emergency technical support on Saturdays (10-6 Eastern).

Pandora joins Responsible Jewellery Council

(LONDON) - The Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) has announced that Pandora, the world’s third largest jewelry brand, has joined the Council’s membership.

Pandora, the Danish leading designer and manufacturer of hand finished and modern jewelry, joins more than 250 companies and trade associations in the Council’s membership.
