“Platinum Points gives jewelers a way to motivate their staff without costing themselves a dime,” said Patrick Drummond, vice president of Sales and Marketing.
The program awards points to jewelers for every new Personal Jewelry Insurance contact they refer to Jewelers Mutual via a specially designed web page. Points are redeemable for gifts ranging from electronics and books to household items and travel. The variety of gifts available is “excellent,” said Ronald Tipton, an appraiser from
“Everything about this program is simple, from enrolling to acquiring points,” Drummond said. Tipton agreed, saying “For me, it’s easy. I just put the referral card in the appraisal folder and tell my customers they can compare prices if they’d like.”
Store managers or owners can keep points for themselves, or distribute to staff members as they see fit, whether they want to run a sales contest or inspire exceptional customer service.
Jewelers can enroll and learn more at www.JMPlatinumPoints.com. It’s important to note that their customers do not need to purchase insurance for points to be awarded. The program is simply intended to increase awareness about Jewelers Mutual and its Personal Jewelry Insurance product.
Participation is limited to one unique code per store location. Void where prohibited. Due to state laws, Platinum Points is not available in CA, GA, KS, ME, MS, MT, NM, NY, and SC.
