For more than 20 years, United Precious Metals Refining, Inc. has been a trusted partner businesses turn to for the best in precious metal product and services. With the precious metals market holding its high values, the influx of refining materials has increased tremendously. United has added two additional new gold reactors and they have been installed in combination with a 15,000 CFM Knox Air Scrubber. The Stone Removal Department has also been upgraded to accommodate 5 times the volume of jewelry for gemstone recovery. As part of this massive expansion, additional electrolytic refining equipment for silver has been installed.
Making United superior with their speed & accuracy is their state-of-the-art analytical department. They perform (3) separate fire assays with each individual lot.“To ensure the maximum returns, once the metal is fully molten and mixed well, we pull a sample that is analyzed using our two part process: Fire Assay and X-Ray Fluorescence,” said UPMR President Vinny Guadagna. “We also use our ICP Technology to detect platinum and palladium contained in the melt.
“Many of the largest companies nationwide depend on United’s expertise for their analytical needs. Unlike many other refiners, United also returns on the platinum and palladium contained. Servicing the smallest bench jeweler with minimal lots to the largest jewelry manufacturers, United PMR has become known as the ‘Refiner of Choice.’”
In view of environmental concerns while processing precious metals, United PMR, Inc. has recently been certified by SCS as being a 100% precious metal recycling facility. They are proud to announce that all fine gold and fine silver bullion bars and grain products have now been certified by an independent (third party) certification company (SCS). This confirms United’s commitment to the industry and their customers by doing all they can to preserve and protect with green products.
In addition to their current SCS certifications for recycled gold, United PMR, Inc. is in the process of obtaining the LBMA certification for the “Good Delivery Rules” for gold bars worldwide. This will be a great addition to their current qualifications towards making UPMR one of the world’s leading precious metals companies.
