Jennifer MacLeod of Perry’s at SouthPark (Charlotte, NC) was recently elected to membership in The National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (NAJA). Having met all the necessary requirements and having been qualified, MacLeod has been granted accreditation and the Association has conferred the professional designation of Member. MacLeod also holds the distinction of being one of only two NAJA members in Charlotte.
In addition to her recent election to NAJA, MacLeod has completed her Graduate Gemologist degree with the Gemological Institute of America. She is also a member of the following: American Society of Jewelry Historians, Association for the Study of Jewelry and Related Arts, and the American Society of Appraisers.
Prior to joining the team at Perry’s as one of their appraisers, she ran an independent appraisal business in lower Alabama. She has completed the Jewelry Appraisal Skill Assessment Exam and has also earned the Advanced Personal Property Appraiser certification.
The National Association of Jewelry Appraisers, which has members throughout the United States is dedicated to the maintenance of professional standards, professional ethics and education in the field of jewelry appraising. All members must adhere to the professional Code of Ethics of the Association and all appraisal assignments must be performed under the constraints of this Code.
