(WARWICK, R.I.) - The Jewelers Board of Trade (JBT), has added an iPhone/iPad version of the Sectional Red Book mobile App to its suite of Red Book products. This follows on the release of an Android version of the App earlier this year. The JBT Sectional Red Book mobile App search engine calls up company names, addresses, and credit ratings for specified geographic territories searchable by name, zip code, city and proximity, and business type. Members can instantly view a company’s location on a map, phone via an instant “Dial Now” feature, and add customized notes for each company.
Sectional Red Book Mobile Apps can be customized by territory, including the 50 U.S. States, Canada, Washington, D.C., New York City, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands. Sectional Red Books also remain available in printed form.
According to Dione Kenyon, JBT President: “Our members need easy, instant access, especially when travelling, to identify and reach potential customers. Current users of the Android version of this App tell us they are very pleased with its capabilities. We are pleased to now meet the needs of more of our members by adding the iPhone/iPad version, part of JBT’s continued efforts to better deliver its products and services to the jewelry industry.”
JBT Sectional Red Books are subsets of The Jewelers Board of Trade (JBT) Annual Reference Book containing over 30,000 jewelry retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers in the U.S. Canada, U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
