Auction Market Resource upgrades website

After more than a year of enjoying the revitalized Auction Market Resource (AMR) website, the creator, Gail Brett Levine, has made significant improvements to benefit the users.

One of the more important changes is the expanded hallmarks database.  There are currently over 450 hallmarks, trademarks and signatures from actual jewelry items viewed during the examination process at auction.  While many hallmarks have bios or a short history attached to them, Katy Bodenburg, GG, is currently researching relevant historical facts to be added to the existing trademarks.

Another new feature is the ability to compare jewelry items with overlapping data screens.  This function is immensely helpful when researching “like kind” jewelry items such as micro mosaics or fancy colored diamonds.

Gail Brett Levine, GG, the creator of AMR remarks that “Auction Market Resource is an unparalleled source of information for all segments of the jewelry industry, whether buying, selling, researching or appraising.”

Selected Preview Associates – all professional independent gemologists/appraisers - assist Levine in collecting this wealth of data from more than 48 national and international auction galleries.  Levine and the Preview Associates personally inspect and report on every item in Auction Market Resource.  No other reference book or website can duplicate this comprehensive and detailed compilation of jewelry sold at auction.

Jan Giamanco of G-Force Web Services comments that, “these improvements to AMR’s business process will well serve the jewelry industry and every professional appraiser.”

The website has full details on how to use, how to subscribe and what to expect from your subscription to Auction Market Resource. For more information visit www.AuctionMarketResource.com or call  718-897-7305.
