The Tanzanite Foundation (TF) and the American Gemological Laboratories (AGL) continue to grow their affiliation, as AGL becomes the third North American Laboratory to offer tanzanite grading in accordance with the Tanzanite Quality Scale™ (TQS).
Over 30 years ago AGL was the first laboratory to pioneer colored gemstone reports with the objective to promote and stimulate consumer confidence. Gabriella Endlin, Technical Director, Tanzanite Foundation states, “With this in mind, AGL and the TF share the same vision. The TQS™ was developed to protect quality and price consistency, as well as allowing for direct comparability to aid consumer confidence in tanzanite purchasing. We are very excited about this collaboration.”
