New Smart Show Dallas helping retailers maximize business during busiest time of year

(CHICAGO) - The Smart Jewelry Show Dallas is giving jewelry retailers a full program of education sessions created to help them attract customers and increase sales during the critical holiday season.

Held September 8-10, with a full day of pre-show sessions on September 7, the program is designed to be a “live” version of Instore magazine and will cover holiday-focused topics including:

  • Holiday Marketing and Sales: Experts will teach retailers how to effectively use newspapers, magazines, radio, billboards and social media to boost holiday results.
  • Holiday Best: Jewelry store owners featured in Instore’s “Best of the Best” column share the secrets of their most successful holiday promotions. Plus, expert holiday advice and to-do’s to make the season run smoothly.
  • Holiday Idea Center: This multimedia gallery created by Instore and Collected Concepts features real-world examples of successful holiday events and promotions, advertising, window and display cases, ambient scenting in retail and more - all from the country’s top jewelers.
  • Bench Pressure Challenge: The Dallas version of the Smart Show Chicago’s popular live, head-to-head bench competitions will feature top jewelers facing off in timed events with a holiday twist. Between rounds, hosts and special guests will give tips on managing bench work during the high-pressure busy season.

In addition to big-name industry speakers like Shane Decker (president of Ex-Sell-Ence, Shane Decker Sales Academy), Laura Cave (director of education and industry relations for The Knot Wedding Network), and Terry Chandler (president and CEO of the Diamond Council of America), The Smart Show Dallas is pleased to announce Scott Ginsberg as its keynote speaker.

Scott Ginsberg, aka “The Nametag Guy,” is the author of twelve books, an award-winning blogger, independent publisher, commissioned artist, professional speaker and creator of NametagTV.com. His expertise in networking and approachability will give jewelers new ways to connect with holiday customers.

On September 8 at 8:30 a.m., in a keynote session titled “Holiday Customers: The Power of Approachability,” Scott will help retail jewelers build more (and better) relationships than ever before, as well as show them how to become more effective, more engaging communicators.

Then, in a special bonus session on September 9 at 2 p.m., Scott will be teaching the essential skill of creating an unforgettable personal brand that generates more business in “Scott Ginsberg’s Networking Super Heroes.”
